Guest guest
a, I take Hydroco/Acetam 5-500 generic for Vicodin 5/500. Dependent upon my pain level for the day I can, but have not taken as many as 8 per day. Two a day used to work a couple of years ago, but not anymore. Usually around 6 per day.. Guest guest
Ok I looked it up online and oxycodone is different than the hydrocodone. From what I read the oxycodone is a stronger pain killer. I am like Barbara and take the hydrocodone which is a generic of vicoden. I take the 10/325 during flares. The other thing that helps me with this med. Is to make sure the pharmacy gives me the Yellow tablets instead of the usual white ones. The difference between the 2 color types is the company that makes the generic and what fillers they use. I can't take the white ones without horrible stomach upset but the yellow ones don't bother me at all. The yellow ones also just seem to work better for pain control than the white ones do. Just a little info I learned from my mom who also has RA and Fybro. I hope this has helped and that you can get out of the drive tomorrow.
