Guest guest
Isn't it just the best feeling Hope you popped the champers and just Enjoyed I still am amazed that something like a medication as little as the glivec tablets are, can do all the grand stuff that it does. I know how it works in the technical and theory sense but it just blows me away. Dr Druker and gang should get the Nobel Prize. Guest guest
Whoo Hoo to you Karyn and glad to know we have made a difference in your life. Your feedback is very important to someone who is a new patient, it helps them to hang in there. You will be hearing from our Master of Ceremonies, Zavie who will issue you a Zero number. We prize them very highly, it's like winning a medal and if I ever get one, I will have a medal cast with my number. LOL Continued good luck and keep in touch. Blessings, Lottie
Guest guest
-thank you Lottie, After i went to my new Dr. i had a relief come over me i can't even explain it, it was like something actually lifted off my shoulders, like 100 lbs. I feel so secure there that if anything ever went wrong i'm in the right hands, this Dr. is in charge of stem cell transplantation so i know he knows what he's doing and most off all he's very compasionate and answers all your questions with a smile and it doesn't matter how many questions you ask ,something i wasn't used to.So Lottie don't give up i'm praying that all of you reach PCRU , and don't stop doing all your research and sharing with us. I found one your articles on metal implants very intersting since i have one in my hip, it said that it can cause cancer and other things, i'm wondering if that's why i'm having so much trouble with inflamation in my body.My GP doctor is doing a test on me now it's called ANA with immuno ence just trying to find out why everything hurts in my body can't blame everything on the Gleevec. Having a bad doctor is like driving an old clunker; now is a good time to junk it. Good for you in getting more starch in your backbone and did something positive for yourself. Your post brings to mind that not all doctors pass the sniff test. > > I am also one of those who have never reached PCRU in 14 years, so Yipee to you. I don't know how many others are in my shoes, as we have over 1,000 members, yet they have not all chosen to reveal or share with us how they are doing. I am sure there are other members who have never received their numbers from Zavie, but if I was eligible, I would send my results to him via overnight UPS. LOL. Kudos to you Esther for hanging in there and believing in yourself. > Hands & hearts, > Lottie Duthu > >
