Guest guest Posted November 26, 2008 Report Share Posted November 26, 2008 My son Sam had his tonsils and adenoids removed on November 19 and started running a low grade fever (100.5 when the Tylenol wears off) in the afternoons yesterday (6 days following the surgery). Yesterday was the due date for his next episode so we're very concerned that the surgery hasn't helped. Have any of you experienced a mild episode soon after surgery with good long term results from the T & A? We are hopeful that maybe it takes a cycle or two before the fevers stop coming? Guest guest Posted November 26, 2008 Report Share Posted November 26, 2008 we had slight fevers during his recovery. ensure you are communicating with your doctor frequently so that this isn't a more severe infection. our son was on anti-biotics as a precaution.
