couple of years back I met an american marine at a Manchester CML meeting - he

was based down south but was going back to the US for a bone marrow transplant.

he'd been taking the same drugs as me, but unfortunately for him, they didn't

work. His transplant was successful, but ever since he's been dogged by chronic

graft versus host disease.

He's just found out that the GVHD has caused serious lung damage & that he might

need to have a lung transplant. He's been keeping a blog since transplant & I'd

be grateful if you could leave him a message of support, I know that if it was

me - I'd be pleased to receive them, Barbara

PS I don't know whether any of you know , he used to post on the Uk site,

but I don't know about the other ones.
