Guest guest
Hello! My name is Jeni .I am a stay at home mother of two boys, ages 4 and 2. Since my 2 year old Tobin was a year old he has had a fever every month, at least once sometimes twice a month. My doctor always does a finger prick blood test and always says its a virus. He was in the hopital on christmas eve while we were visiting my family in NY with fever of 104.6 and his lips were blue (first time thats happened) Normally I would not have taken him in but after calling my ped. here his doc told me to bring him to the ER. Again after many tests I was told it was a virus. No one else in the family ever gets sick. Tobin doesn't have any other symptoms just the fever that gets as high as 104.6 usually lasting 2 to 4 days. From what I've read about he doesn't have the exact symptoms, right now I'm just starting my search for answers. My mommy instinct tells me there is something wrong here and I don't believe it is simply a virus. So right now I'm just checking everything out.Any advice for me will be welcome. Any tests I should ask my doctor for or specalists I need to see, please let me know. Thank you!
