Guest guest
I'm on gleevac and I have medicare part d. But my gleevac is covered but the copay is like 1500.00 for theĀ first 2 months of the year. My doctor ask a social worker to contact PSI and sign up for help with copay. This company pays my copay every month. I have to update my appl. every year. Hope this helps. Good luck From: penhathpaper <penhathpaper@...> Subject: [ ] Gleevac Medicare Coverage Date: Saturday, May 30, 2009, 1:55 PM Can anyne please tell me if they are on Gleevac and if their medication is covered by Medicare Part B. My husband was told that his chemo would be covered by Part B and now CVS is telling us that it is not going through. I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone at Medicare since it's the weekend. Please email me and let me know if you are on Gleevac and if your medication is covered by Medicare Part B. Guest guest
I get my Gleevec free straight from the company that makes it. The social worker at the clinic that I go to said that it is a tax write off for them. I just get disability every month so my income is very low. If it wasn't for getting it from the company who makes it, I would not be able to afford it at all. I don't even have health insurance so that makes it even worse. Thank God I live in a state that has a cancer clinic for the people like me with low income or no income. I just wish I could find something in TN so that I could be with my husband all the time. If anyone knows of a clinic in TN that gives free care to the needy, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.
