Guest guest Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 Yesterday my little girl (almost 5), had her christmas show at her little pre school. The show was typical with singing, cookies, decorating the tree and everyone dressed up in their holiday finest. That morning when she woke up the fever reared its ugly head and we had to dose her with Prednisone. As she began to sing carrols I thought how bad her eyes looked all swelled and red and her hair was messed up as her mother did'nt have proper time to fix it the way she had planned the night before. I was amazed and heart broken at the same time watching this little person try so hard to participate and be happy with all the other children and at the same time suffering the ill effects of this bizzarre disorder. I truly am inspired by my child and her spirit, she seems so much tougher than she should be and sometimes I think she gets me through this instead of me helping her. I know everyone in this group knows what I mean and with Christmas season here I hope all of of you get the present of inspiration like I have. Merry Christmas........ Steve.
