No fever but other symptoms? Please talk me in the T&A...

My son is 6 and has been diagnosed with for 3 years. We have

been treating each episode with orapred and the last time he had an

episode with fever was Sept. 18th. His usual pattern now is that he

has a low grade fever for a couple of days and then it spikes to 102-

103. If i give the orapred before the fever spikes then it comes

back the next day. So I wait.

FOr the past 3 days he has had a low grade fever - nothing I would

notice except he is exhibiting some of his other symptoms:

enlarged lymph glands in his neck, complaining of a sore throat and

upset tummy, sore knees, etc. I finally gave him an orapred today so

we'll see what happens.

Anyone else encounter this?

Also, we have been thinking about the T & A but since he is 6 and his

episodes are spacing out we thought he might be outgrowing it. I

don't want him to have the surgery if he is on the verge of

outgrowing it but i'd also like to see him be done with .
