Cycle after tonsils removed

All,

My 13 year old son had his tonsils removed on Dec. 2nd. Following his

normal pattern, he was due to have a cycle starting today. Unfortunately,

he is sick today and it all began the same way, rash on neck, headache,

joint pain, and now the chills.

Has anyone experienced their child having a cycle following tonsils being

removed, but later finding the cycles stopping or at least greatly reduced?

Is there hope that the tonsillectomy still may be our long term solution?
