Guest guest
Hi I also haven't posted in a while because things are going well for us but I wanted to tell you our experiences with Singulair. My daughter is 3. She has been on singulair for over 18 months. . I am writing just because we had a very similar experience. Singulair was a wonder drug. Then I thought it had worn out its effectiveness (symptoms less severe but still there). My rheumatologist had recommended that we stay on it since it at least helped. i am so glad we did. She has not had a fever (knock on wood) since May. NOTHING! We went to Disney World - no fever. She had her birthday and Thanksgiving and Christmas - no fever! I am not saying she is cured. I don't even think she has " grown out of it " since she still has the occasional joint pain complaints and broke out in her rash twice. I completely attribute her vast improvement to the singulair. I just wanted to let you know that we had the same issue, but it may be worth holding onto it for little while longer as long as there are no side effects. Good luck and I hope that you find the right thing that helps your child. Lori Rodgers
Guest guest
Hi Dena, I am so sad that singulair does not seem to help you. I had so much hope in this drug too. my daughter takes it for 4 month. she has fever every 20 days, and she suddenly had a break of 40 days. it was amazing, but now we are on 20 days cycle again. although the episode is shorter, I think. can you check with your doctor to what injection did he mean ? mine said something about gama-glubolin - ivig - is it this ? I will be happy to read your reply. thank you and feel well - you and your family Gali
