Played the waiting game again, and for what?

We waited all day to give our 5 yr old the Prednisone... and

then went into panic mode getting him into the bath at 11pm tonight

with a 105.1 fever. My husband asked me to wait, again, twice in the

last month to give it to him. I understand why, but I would have given

it to him this afternoon when it went to 103. It just seems worse to

do it this way. Is 1 1/2 teaspoons every few weeks really harmful? Do

we know? My husbnad is so scared of this drug. I think he has such bad

preconcived notions from sports. All I know, and feel is, it works. It

works. For now at least.
