Guest guest
Dear , I'm indeed sorry to hear about your husband being diagnosed with CML and experiencing the high white blood counts. We all had them, some higher, some lower. We welcome you to the group, even though you don't have CML. We have many members who post for another family member or friend. The intended still gets the message and it is good of you to inquire, because we have answers. I am 80 years old and have had CML for nearly 14 years. Next month, I will be having my CML re-birthday and also my real birthday and celebrate my 81st. I mention this because I want you and your husband to know it is entirely possible to live out your entire lifetime with CML. I think you will find that we are willing to share our own ups and downs and stories with anyone who cares to " listen " . LOL Normally, on a good day when everyone is reading their emails, you will get instant responses as soon as the next list is posted, or you will be contacted privately. The colitis cannot be too pleasant and the chances are, he will have less symptoms with CML than with the colitis, if he continues in the direction he is now going. We all wish him luck in his journy and hope you will continue to keep us posted. If you have read any of our previous posts, you will find that we have a variety of issues and find out to our amazement sometimes that someone else has experienced it first. Blessings to you and your husband with no name, LOL, Blessings Lottie

I look forward to digging through the posts and learning as much as I can - ups and downs alike. Congratulations on both of your birthdays!! You're insight, strength and positive attitude have already worked their way into my heart.
