Guest guest
Say Lottie, what is CHR? Thanks always! From: lotajam@... Date: Sun, 26 Apr 2009 23:11:40 -0500 Subject: [ ] All treatment is valid Dear , I don't believe that I have had the pleasure of your acquaintaince before now. I don't know what it is about the article that I posted that triggered your ire, or that you found something to take issue with, but they are not my words. I share my research with this group when I find an article that would be interesting to a broad sprectrum of the membership and I am always careful when copying words that someone else has penned to give them credit for their body of work. Medscape is a reliable source for information on all types of cancer and other diseases, used by doctors and other professionals. You will always find the website at the foot of the post, from which I obtained the quotations, so the reader is free to either peruse the abstract or read the entire article. I'm sorry you misunderstood; there was no politics involved in that article, and no malice to anyone intended, in fact, quite the opposite. I well understand that we need an arsenal of drugs, perhaps that is why I have participated in five trials to date. Anyone who has been on Inteferon would well understand why they would want to " jump " to another trial. I am happy for anyone and I have said it many times, if they have reached PCRU, they are blessed. I have never gotten beyond CHR. Bob, Bobby and I have had CML for about the same length of time, give or take a year, so I think we are at the head of the class, except for Skip, he is in a class all his own. I don't pretend to know everything, as every day I learn something new from this group of fighters. By the way Bob, calling me a Hellcat was funny, Jimmy called me that once, just once!!!!!!!! I think we have a great group of people here and I have never seen anyone resort to finding fault with a copyrighted article before. I think perhaps you might have been having a bad day, but be advised that I have taken no offense personally. Blessings and yes, I am 80+, Lottie
Guest guest
Dear Dear Lottie So good to hear you speak. (type) Now give me your wisdom and tell me why my PTH (Parathyroid Hormone) is so high. It is 95 normal is 36-65. we went through this a few months ago and they put me on a high dose of Vit D. for about 6 weeks. It brought it down to normal but now it is up again higher then before. My vit D and calcium are also normal. And an indication of a high PTH is low calcium and D. I am totally confused. I will talk to my dr. tomorrow. Just thought you might know something. You are always there for us. Thank Aloha Sharon _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Lottie Duthu Sent: Sunday, April 26, 2009 9:12 PM CML Subject: [ ] All treatment is valid Dear , I don't believe that I have had the pleasure of your acquaintaince before now.
