Hi Maxine,

Here's my story; today was 67, sunny with a nice breeze. I had the

windows opened all day. Ha-Ha. Couldn't help but tease ya.

Hi!

I live in Palmyra, PA. I have 7 feet of snow on my sidewalk and 5 feet of

snow on my front porch!!! We got about 2 feet of snow actually ... the rest

is from blowing snow! So just TODAY someone is coming to shovel me out. My

husband has to have back surgery the end of the month so he can't do it.

Ohhh wellll.... I have been taking pictures to send back to my relatives in

Texas...they will NEVER believe this! Tomorrow is my Remicade appt. so I

have been feeling horrid!!!!!!!!

Take care all!!!

Carla

Hi All, I have been thinking about you. These are trying times for

those of us with RA. I live in Silver Spring, MD where we got 25

inches. Wow!! I cannot shovel. I brushed the snow off our cars.

At least I feel productive. I snowshoed up and down our streets for

exercise. That felt good. I ache a bit today, but the enjoyment of

being in the cold snow, in my cozy warm clothing, really felt great.

I'd love to hear your stories. Blessings, Maxine

I only got 7 inches here in NE Ohio. I took all last week as

vacation, so I got to sit inside my nice warm living room with

steaming coffee and a hot heating pad while I watched it come down.

In my household, there's a tradition that each kitten has to

experience snow once in their lifetime as they are all otherwise

strictly indoor cats. I took in a stray kitten last fall, so this

is Squeaky's first winter. Heh, heh, heh. I got to watch through

the window as my sweetie took her outside and dumped her headfirst

into a snowbank. (She was immediately brought back in and towel-

dried, but that shocked expression on her face was so funny.)

I never heard what our actual snowfall totals were here in central

IL, but most of it ended up in the next county thanks to the wind. I

shovelled on Sunday night, no big deal, mostly just pushing asside a

couple of inches here and there. But my body hasn't recovered from it

yet! The past two days have been particularly bad. It really brings

home how much my arthritis has progressed.

I feel for all of you who live in the snowbelt. I lived in land for 6 yrs when I was first diagnosed..........and it didn't take me long to talk hubby into moving back home to California. I'm grateful that we were able to, and I can only dare to imagine how difficult the snow is on all of you. Now I can drive 30 min to an hr if I chose to see the snow. Warm hugs, Sandy

Yes, we got snow too. I'm on Cape Cod, MA where we don't usually get

snow - being on the coast. We are used to getting rain. Well, not

this time. Feb. 7th brought us 10 inches of snow and Feb. 17-18

brought us 27 " . Mu hubby had not left yet at the time of the storms

so he shoveled. There was a lot to shovel. But the last few days

have been 50 degrees and rainy so most of the snow has melted away.
