I certainly don't claim to be smart but i don't see the issue. Also don't see

any Pcr or cytogenetics results. Perhaps thats is where the information show a

need to change?

My new doc says these results do not justify sticking with Gleevec if the side

effects are crummy. They are switching me to Sprycel. He says he hopes I will

get better results.

Hi ,

If your doctor is making treatment decisions based on a CBC (regular blood test)

as opposed to a cytogenetic (BMB) or a molecular (PCR) test, then you really

need to get a new doctor. Incidentally, your CBC looks great which really has

me wondering what he's talking about.
