prednisone no longer working??

I don't think the prednisone is working for my son anymore? Anyone experience

this? Unless its just because he was over excited (which we've discussed in this

group before). We were leaving for Disneyland on Sunday...Saturday he had an

episode (a week earlier than expected), gave him pred., by that night he was

fine. Sunday his behavior was HORRIBLE (as expected from the pred), and sunday

night spiked fever again..with stomach and leg pain! Motrin didn't bring it down

either so had to alternate tylenol and mortin. Could the pred. not be working?

his tonsils are coming out in feb (hopefully), he's not a priority to the

surgery dept. so we have to wait to be scheduled! Hopefully only a few more

months of this!!
