Annlouise -

Your changes were dramatic and substantial and noticeable and fabulous. If

you are a " bit down " because you hoped for a more dramatic change, then

perhaps it's time to re-evaluate your expectations.

The belly fat did not arrive in 12 weeks; it will not leave in 12

weeks. From everything I've read, belly fat is usually the last to be

removed, and takes a long time, and is more about nutrition than exercise.

Do you really hope to have " better results " during the next 12 weeks?

Or are you looking to " continue the excellent results that you've had? "

I remember that when I initially lost some weight in 2003, I had some

unrealized expectations of what would change in my life because of the

weight change. When that didn't happen, I was disappointed. Then I

realized that my change had been wonderful - it was my expectations of

external circumstances beyond my control that needed adjustment.

And, it's like what Dr. Phil says in his book - it's one thing to shoot for

the stars, but quite another to be shooting for something unrealistic. I'm

5'5; no matter how much weight I lose, I will not be 5'8 " . I have an

hourglass shape; no matter how much I lose, this will not change.

my 2 cents

GREAT googly moogly!!! You did an incredible job and it shows in every

picture. Are you having vision difficulties?? You went sailing waay

under 200, dropped all those sizes, lost your back fat, flattened your

belly, shrunk your thighs. The changes are really, really dramatic and

you're soooo close! Don't you dare start your second challenge

discouraged and mopey. You did a fantastic job. If you keep doing

exactly what you're doing, you'll be totally floored by what happens

next! Even you will be able to see it! LOL I was wearing size 12 jeans

when I started my first BFL challenge and I ended it at a size 6. You

are RIGHT THERE and you can do it too!

AnnLouise, how can you say you didn't have the results that you were

looking for when you went from an 18 to a 12!! That means you now

have to shop in an entierly different part of the store than you used

to. That is FANTASTIC! And 19 pounds in 12 weeks is great too.

You have to see the possitive, because to do anthing else will be

cheating yourself of a well deserved pat on the back.

Barbara

who has NEVER purchased a size 12 in her life and is extremely envious :)

Yeah, what she said. I think you look incredible. You should be very

proud of yourself!!!!!!!

Good to know you were a 12 once . Maybe I will be a 6 someday

too. Of course, you are probably a 2 now, right?

sigh.

I tried to look at them, but groups has been stinky all day for me..…I

can view the thumbnails, but not the larger size pics. But from what I can see,

she is a very pretty young lady.

If you have missed seeing flowers through the winter, you really should go to

the photo album and take a look at Zavie's pictures. He is using his bragging

rights to show off his brilliant, colorful photography, just one of his hobbies.

LOL

Keep them coming Zavie.

Blessings,

Lottie
