Guest guest
My sister had that when she had chemo - we bought a tongue scraper which helped post treatment. I made spicy food (soup) with ginger chillli etc which was fragrant and she could " taste " . She found trying diff foods helped as you didnt have the disappointment of not tasting foods you enjoy. Guest guest
Hi Gubi, I have read that zinc helps with loss of taste and smell. Guest guest
Eat lots of Pecans, Brazil nuts, and Almonds which are high in zinc. Ginger root is also very high in zinc and would make a good tea to drink with many side benefits. Guest guest
Your're welcome - Its seems I hit on something by accident ususing ginger in the soup I made. I promised my sister she would taste it to her surpise she did - it was Thai syle (with chilli)so he aromas were vey fragrant and appetising. It made her eyes water though LOL. Guest guest
Wow, to me that sounds like a dream. Nothing like this has happened to me in 8 years of Gleevec. Everything tastes just so good that I cannot lose a pound without dieting. Tell me your father's secret I'll be eternally grateful!
