Guest guest
Another Gleevec Victory! Well, that sounds very dramatic, but for me it really was. and got married this past Saturday and it was and still is, totally awesome. It was just over 3 years ago that I thought I had just been handed a death sentence for my eldest child...... and right now, he is on a cruise and as happy as one can be! Their outside wedding was beautiful, they were beautiful and smiled and laughed till their cheeks burned. The rain held off till all the photos were taken and.......... well, everything was just perfect and beyond. I expected to be emotional and I was, but what was really surprising was that cml only crossed my mind once! Only once during that whole day. And that was when I sent Dr Druker a huge, sincere and deep thanks for helping make this day happen. Gleevec has really been 's Gold, but it has been ours too; 's, mine and all our family - we have all survived 's cml because of it. Saturday was a real celebration on so many levels and I just know that I am one of the luckiest and happiest moms out there, with literally thousands of photos to sort through and smile over. A big thanks to all of you for being here, for the sharing, encouragement and for helping me stay sane (whatever that is) over these past three years... love and light Annie 's mom http://livingwithcml.blogspot.com
