Implants - Scary stuff ladies

I went to the dentist yesterday for a check-up and clean

Last time when my teeth were cleaned - came out with looking like someone

had cut my gums there was so much blood - but when mopped up just a little

bit of blood which would not stop flowing from gums

This is just a clean.

So this time - with antibiotics just in case - (did not need to take or inform

my specialist this time) - off I go

I am a scaredy cat when it comes to dentists I may add - don't mind facing

a bull on a horse but go to the dentist and someone has to prod me to get into

the

door - not sweats from menopause - sweats from pure fear.

A-OK so get into the seat - this time everyone is ready for the red blood flow

- only a little blood this time - and teeth fine

However, my friend next week goes into hospital for implants.

Will cost $20,000.00 Australian Dollars - can you believe that.

Her teeth are in a mess from all the chemo she had when she

was being treated for breast cancer one year and two years later

in the other breast.

So in the end decided on implants - this I can tell you is not for

the faint hearted.

Will tell you next week how Annes hospital visit and post treatment

goes.
