Guest guest
Dear Gay, No, I never asked for it, but it is available if you ask in advance. Rhonda gets it, so she can tell you what she does to order it. I have never felt the need for it, but everyone is different and if I felt like I was being crucified, I would certainly ask for it. I do get it at the pain center when they are giving me steroid injections in my back, but I have had several of them in the past, and I was never given anything. Those pain centers are like an assembly line. As soon as you " wake up " , they bring you a glass of whatever juice you prefer and they help you get your clothes on, someone is there with a wheel chair and they are ready to put someone else in your place. Jimmy is called out in the lobby and told to move the car next to the elevator and we are out of there and back home in no time. The only thing I recall is making a wisecrack when I get on the table and the next thing I know it's over. I have had the same procedures done at MDACC last year when I evacuated there because of the hurricane, and they did not put me to sleep. Blessings, Lottie
