Guest guest
Dear , I suspect you inherited some of your dad's sense of humor and thanks for the lovely compliment. I got a good laugh myself at the doctor's comment about your dad being " disgustinly normal " . Suggest that he join the group in our dialog and give Bob a run for his money. I should be so lucky to hear that diagnosis. I find the younger doctors have a sense of humor, but as they age, they become " disgustingly " dry and never laugh. They act like they can't wait for you to leave before you even get started. When I was in the hospital, a doctor who was replacing my doctor came in and was so rude, when I asked what I had, he said they didn't know and I said the nurse just told me 5 minutes ago that I had c-difficile and he denied it and said that was not true. I had Jimmy run after him to ask him what I had and to write it down. Guess what he wrote " " colustridium difficle " . I think doctors dishonor themselves and their profession when they have so little regard for their patients. He must have thought I was an idiot. When an oncologist came in, I asked about my neutrophils since there was a sign on my door that I was neutrophenic. He never answered the question, but said I knew a lot. What's wrong with wanting to know what is in your chart? I think it might come under the Patients Rights Act. I think your dad was lucky that he only needed 3 Aranesp shots. Mine is an ongoing problem, my counts stay suppressed. Even though I take a sub-optimal dose, I would hate to see what happened if I was able to take the max. B-12 shots wouldn't help me unless I had a deficiency, no matter how many B-12 shots I took. I have always seem to have enough B-12. I think we all prosper from an exchange of information that affects the general population who are subscribers. We are able to tell our doctors that we are not the only ones who have a particular side effect to let them know we are not hallucinating. Bob, your story was hilarious and anyone who didn't think it was funny was still recovering from Versed. I agree with Bobby, nothing exciting ever happens in my neighborhood, do they have any homes for sale in your neighborhood, since we have to hire someone to cut our grass. LOL We found a school teacher who loves to work in yards, so she works with her son who is a teenager. I planted a Japan plum tree and she looks out for it, so her son doesn't mow it down. Blessings everyone, Lottie
