Guest guest
Dear Virginia, I am continually awed by what you do for LLS and CML. You have inspired us deeply with your efforts to raise money for LLS & research. It must be difficult to get yourself whipped up into shape, but I know it makes you feel better. It's amazing that you have passed the half-way mark of $13,000 towards your goal of $20,000. You have certainly raised the bar and nothing would be finer than seeing you exceed it. As you gear up, you are gaining momentum and strength for the long haul. My very best to you. Yeah, Virginia. Hands and hearts, Lottie
Guest guest
HI , Can you get your thrill from something else??? Hate to put it bluntly .... But I care fellow sufferer, give this up , Just the shear stress of that deadline for your marathon is causing you trouble. THATS BIG STRESS. I use to run when I was a kid( I did a 8:50 second mile. For me that was great! I am now 43 and lucky to get up and move. I use a Newstep. Try one of those and continue in the pool. In fact marathon in the pool. Why punish your body? You're the winner when your make sound decisions. For you I hope you change your marathon to a more sensible approach. This is a real problem that needs your full attention. Guest guest
I was racing bicycles (Cat 2 road and track) when I first ran into PA. I found the stress induced by training/racing to be incompatible with PA. I gave up racing and now ride at a much less intense level. Pulse rate still pretty low, stress much lower, all good. Running - never found it that pleasant anyway. Rob Glover
