Guest guest
Dear Barbara, Congratulations on your 5th anniversary. That is longer than many of us were given when we were diagnosed. Now we putter around fully expecting a 5 year survival--and many more after that. Bob , Granger, Indiana PS: Please don't say nice things to Lottie. She actually believes what you say! > > 5 years ago I went to give blood, little did I know that it would be the start of my CML rollercoaster. > At first, I was afraid & could think of nothing else; I didn't even want to buy clothes or plan holidays in case I wasn't around to enjoy them, but as time has gone by, I've got used to the idea & am living a very full and normal life. > I'd like to thank those who were there for me at the beginning, especially Lottie, Knotts (who understands me both on a CML front & from having a special needs child) and all the other who've taken the time to answer my posts. > I'm posting this for any newbies out there in order to tell them that having CML does not mean that we have to change our way of life, of course there are days when I'm tired & the side effects kick in, but everyone (even those who aren't ill) get days like that, > my best wishes to all, > Barbara > PS message for Lottie - I really appreciated the recent post you wrote about me, but got the impression that it was a bit of a sales pitche, trying to sell me to the other members lol >
