Guest guest
"I've been HIV+ for 16 years, but recently have been without an HIV specialist. Tomorrow I get to see a new one at s Hopkins University. Looking back at previous relationships with HIV providers, I realize that much of the treatment has been driven by the doctor's experience and education. Unfortunately, much of that education is provided to them by untrained (but very attractive) pharmaceutical reps."Hopkins has excellent HIV clinics, staffed by some leading HIV clinicians. This is a major teaching hospitalI think you aren't giving these people much credit when you go into the discussion assuming they get their education from drug reps. You've arrived in a good place, and I hope it works well for you.JB
