My Doc is reommending Viramune/Truvada as a first combo since I've

never been on meds before. My understanding is they are less toxic and

have fewer side effects and possible less toxic in the long term than

the PI's. Is this true. I'm thinking it's best to save the PI's for

later if I should need them and go with the NRTI/NNRTI combo first as

he's suggested. What do you all think about this?

What was your first combo and what side effects did you have and how

well did it work for you? I asked him for one of the lesser toxic

combos and least side effects.
