Guest guest
Dear , Thanks for the insights on cancer and CML from both Drs. Rockefeller and Druker. I especially liked the part when Dr. Druker says he is trying to kill the last CML cell. I suppose most of us will have to settle for a durable remission. I was treated with INF, so maybe it modified my immune system to just stay where it is. I do know someone in Canada who was treated with INF alone and she has been cancer free for years. She goes for a checkup every year. Her husband suffers more from depression than she does from CML. To tell the truth, I don't think I would have lasted very long on INF and I know you remember your own experience with it, but believe it or not, some people are still on it and don't have a problem. They are probably cancer free and don't know it. LOL. Hugs, Lottie
