Guest guest Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 My impression is that once a patient has a diagnosis like osteoporosis or a fracture coverage kicks in, but for an initial evaluation to see if one has reduced BMD I think insurance in general does not cover the DEXA.
