Gleevec Holiday To Barbara

Hi Barbara:

I just saw your post, and I saw that you were doing Gleevec and Ara/C. I

have not seen anyone else doing that combination. I did Interferon with Ara/C

in the beginning in 1998, and it just wiped me out. I was wondering why they do

not just have you doing Gleevec by itself. I would need more than a vacation if

I was doing both.

You mentioned you lost some weight on your vacation. The weight has been a

real problem for me, and I see so many others have had the additional weight

gain.

Hope you are feeling better, and they can stabilize your treatment.
