Shingles Vaccine & Gleevec Holidays

Many thanks for all your responses.

I decided to email Dr. Druker. He said that I could go ahead and get the

vaccine. So I think I will do so.

I also asked about holidays, and he said that there are studies being done to

see if some patients with a durable undetectable (PCRU) status could come off of

gleevec -- but that it is too soon to have any answers.

Thank God we have Dr. Druker -- I never cease to be amazed at how marvelous

this man is to us.
