Guest guest
I think you are correct . My doc told me I should take a flu shot but not if it is a live vaccine. Guest guest
, Aren't chicken pox and shingles just about the same thing...isn't this just a geriatric version of it? My one son had shingles at 3 and his roommate...his older brother had it at 18....so not sure what the thinking is there...if the virus is still active, from having chicken pox, shingles can appear at anytime from what I understand....have a friend who has chronic chickenpox or shingles...and unfortunately...they just suffer along...they don't believe in biomedical....how sad. Joanna Hoelscher ________________________________ From: lbschroeder <lbschroeder@...> Subject: [ ] Shingles vaccine Liz, you cannot get the shingles vaccine, as it is a " live " vaccine. Guest guest
Kathy I don't know if I would take the shingles vaccine - Dr Druker is the knowledge base Shingles is also a side effect of glivec and I have had shingles off and on since starting glivec - I take medication at a very low dose for a week and it goes away Lottie How would raw oysters help shingles - sounds awful - I cannot stomach oysters so I obviously have a bias against. Are oysters rich in some sort of mineral like zinc etc Just eating well you would think be enough but glivec is very powerful and does all sorts of impacts to the body Sue __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4081 (20090517) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com
