Guest guest
We should be able to work this for a day or two Halff From: Lottie Duthu <lotajamcomcast (DOT) net> Subject: [ ] Old emails " CML " <groups (DOT) com> Date: Saturday, June 20, 2009, 3:49 PM I think what our friends are trying to teach us is to open a fresh new email to each time instead of just clicking on the digest address posted as a reply. Let's try that and see if things get better for everyone. says " No need to get the Maytag repairman. " Our thanks to , too. How come I am not that smart yet? Guest guest
Yes, you can just hit reply... but it is easier for those on the digest if you delete all the previous messages. Tammy
Guest guest
I should expand on that... if you hit reply, then select and delete all the other words in the email before you start typing your answer. Tammy
Guest guest
I have found this to be the easiest/best way to respond to an email if you have the digest version: At the end of each message there is a place to click: " Reply to sender " " Reply to group " etc. If you click on " reply to group " a new email message screen will appear, with the address and topic/thread all typed in for you. Just type your message and send. It will not repeat the whole digest, just your reply will appear under the thread heading. Hope this helps! It avoids all the digest cutting and pasting! Guest guest
Dear , Was it that easy all along? Thank you so much for your input. I am trying it for the first time as you suggested. There is an old German saying: " We get too schmart too late. " Thanks 1 mil. Hands and hearts, Lottie
