Guest guest
Hi Bobby I was just courious - what apartments did you stay at? I've been looking for my parents but they are all very expensive, around $100 a day. They can not afford that so we will be staying in a hotel until something else opens up. We have our name on the Church apt list and the Faith House list. Just wondering. I hope you are doing well. I also bought round trip shuttle tickets, cheaper than taxis, unless you are renting a car. I stayed at the Rotary House if it was a short visit, but when i first went there for the Sprycel trial I rented a lovely apartment, stayed 3 months. I found at MDACC which is huge, it was always hurry up and wait! Lovely hospital, good doctors, my Dr.Talpaz has since moved to the U. of Michigan which is smaller. Good luck to you, Bobby On Tue, May 19, 2009 at 12:00 AM, Patti Simbulan <psimbulanverizon (DOT) net>wrote: > > > Hi, > > Some of you may remember me from some earlier posts. Guest guest
Hi Jackie, I stayed at El Mundo apartments, don't recall the address, but they were pretty pricey. I think I paid 800 something, plus rented furniture, With utilities, I believe it was well over $1000/month. the church apartments are the best deal I think. You start June 8, right? I start cycle 3 this Fri. I love this drug. I have no side effects, it is like not being on a drug at all. But that was the same with sprycel, for 1 1/2 yrs. then I had to stop because of pleural effusion. I pray that does not happen this time, and I don't care if I never reach pcru, i am doing just great on 15 mg. a day. So far this is the best drug I have ever been on, and I hope it is the same for you. If I have no problems at all on 15, you should be fine on 30. Good luck and good luck finding inexpensive housing there, not easy. Len and Ernie stayed in a trailer park a few miles south of there, just an idea, but less expensive than apartments. I am wondering if this will get to you, I have problems ever since I switched to gmail. so i am going to send this with my old address, hope you get it.
