Guest guest
Dear Barb, There are many of us who would like to be in your position and not have major side effects. Are you still with Dr. Niccolini, that dear man? I know he is looking out for you, as always. My advice would be to stay where you are. There is no evidence to prove that you will become resistant after 3 years of being PCRU. So what if the needle jumps every once in a while. You are in a good place, so lucky to have been diagnosed after Gleevec was approved and to have such a wonderful doctor. I would pinch myself every day. You don't know what is behind the screen, so to speak. You may have worse symptoms. It is your Golden Fleece, I would stick with what you know is working. Go with the rational half and stick with Gleevec if you are asking for my opinion. Let us know what you decide. Hope you are all well and my best to the family, Lottie xoxo
