Guest guest
Dear Millie, Hello! I know what you mean about increased symptoms before my monthly cycles. Before I developed arthritis I had awful times with my cycles (pain, nausea, etc.). The symptoms vastly improved after taking the Pill. I take the generic version of Alesse. I've never been pregnant but have heard that symptoms improve. I'm surprised that the doctor didn't understand -- she probably doesn't have arthritis. I had one rheumy who told me there was no biological reason for my arthritis to be worse when it rained so the symptoms were all in my head. (she wasn't my rheumy much longer). Hope that helps. I'd suggest that you go back on the Pill if you can. Guest guest
I have definitely noticed a flare that coincides with my monthly cycle. Usually the first day is the worst - basically I can expect not to walk at all that day. But usually by the third things are back to " normal.
