Guest guest
Dear Eva, I hope with all the prayers that are being recited for you, that you will have a good outcome. Has your doctor talked about changing your meds to something else? Since there are other options, I hope your doctor is considering them, if not, then do your homework. I hope that you get enough feedback from our other members to help you make up your mind about what is best for you, so if anyone has had a similiar problem, I hope they will respond to you, Eva. Take care, there is something else out there for you. Blessings, Lottie
Guest guest
I have not taken Tylenol since being diagnosed and probably not even 2X a year before that. I have been on no pain meds since first diagnosed and then I was given 2 mg Morphine. It made me sick to my stomach so I never took it again. Thanks for your email. I have to ask you if you have been on Tylenol for pain by any chance. When I was clinical trial, I had to sign a release that I was informed no Tylenol for pain. That was back in 2000, and to this day I never took Tylenol. They put such a scare into me at that time regarding Tylenol and Gleevec destroying the liver. I use nothing for pain. I just cope with it. I cannot even use Ibuprofen because my kidney doctor tells me it will destroy the kidneys. You have all of us praying for you, and lets get the liver under control so they can try you on a newer treatment that is available. Maybe a new doctor too. I don't know. God Bless You!!!
