Guest guest
Hi : So sorry you ended up being put in the hospital, but with all that you said is going on with you its the best thing right now. I will pray that they get you straightened out with your treatment. Sometimes it takes awhile till they can get the right combination. God Bless You
Guest guest
Thank you Suzzie! I feel soooo much better today than I have all week. One of the Drs from the group that I will be seeing came in this morning and said that I was dehydrated! I can't believe that since I drink so much. I guess I just wasn't drinking the right things. As bad as I hate it, I guess it's time to fuel up on the good ole H2O. I can only drink bottled water though. I was raised in the country but still can't stand water straight from the tap. He also took my Gleevc back down to 400mg and added Hydrea. I am not sure how long I will be on that but so far I have had 2 doses of it today and it hasn't bothered me. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that everything will go as he has planned. They did a CT scan on me last night and my spleen is enlarged some but only 16%. He said they really don't worry about it unless it gets to 30% or more. My WBC was down this morning from what it was last night. When I was admitted last night it was 88,900 and this morning it was 77,000. To me that is a big drop in one night and that was before I had any new meds. All I got last night was fluids. They have done all sorts of tests on me today. They did an Echocardiogram( if I am spelling that right) and it was so normal that the guy said that it was boring. I took that as a good thing! I'm not sure what else they have planned for me but I am here til they say get out, lol. Thanks for all your prayers and kindness. > > Hi : So sorry you ended up being put in the hospital, but with all that you said is going on with you its the best thing right now. > I will pray that they get you straightened out with your treatment. Guest guest
Hi : Sounds like your doing much better. The water is so important. I am not a water drinker, and all my doctors get annoyed with me. I just never liked water. Some people walk around with their bottle all the time. It actually threw my blood work off by not drinking water. They were telling me I had a kidney problem, which maybe I do. My kidney functions were all off. My oncology nurse told me to drink lots of water, because maybe I was just dehydrated. I make sure I drink plenty of water before I go for my blood test, and my kidney functions are back to normal. So I do not know if its coincidence or what. Just keep forcing it in when you can. A boring Cardiogram sure sounds like good news to me. Your attitude is very good also. Take Care
