Guest guest
Hi to all, I have a tentative starting date for the Ariad trial - June 1st or June 8th. It will be good to get it going as I will be off work and have the whole summer to get on a new schedule. I remain in HR but my PCR is greater than 100%, Dr Cortes sees no reason to remain on HHT as it hasn't given me any cytogenetic response in 2 years - I agree. Time to move on!! I will keep you posted. In the meantime I am enjoying the vacation from drugs and ending the school year. Does anyone have some recomendations on apartments to stay at here in Houston? Cheaper would be greatly appreciated! : ) God Bless all of you. I'll keep you posted. Jackie S.
Guest guest
HI JACKIE, THE BEST OF LUCK WITH ARIAD. DO YOU START ON 15 MG? OR 8? TO ME THIS DRUG IS LIKE SPRYCEL, I DIDN'T HAVE THE HEADACHE THOUGH LIKE I DID WITH SPRYCEL. I HAVE NO SIDE EFFECTS. WELL, MAYBE I DO, BUT AT MY AGE IT'S HARD TO SAY ARE THEY BECAUSE 80 IS AROUND THE CORNER, AND I AM SUPPOSED TO HAVE ACHES AND PAINS, OR IS IT THE DRUG? WHO KNOWS. I HAD A BMA/BMB YESTERDAY, THAT WILL MAKE THE SECOND SO THEY WILL HAVE A COMPARISON. IT WAS A DRY TAP, BUT THEY DID GET A PIECE OF BONE, SO THAT SHOULD HELP. I WILL KNOW THE RESULTS SOON, AND PASS THEM ON. GOOD LUCK, I PRAY THAT THIS DRUG LOVES YOU!!!
