Guest guest
Hi Bobby, I thought Jody the research nurse said that I would be starting on 30mg. Does that sound right? That's alot more than you are taking so maybe I misunderstood. Did you feel more pain with a dry tap? That sounds very painful to me. I had hopefully a good draw yesterday. Sometimes if the pulling of the marrow doesn't hurt much, it's not a good specimen. I guess I'll find out in a few weeks. Take Care - God Bless, Jackie S. TO ME THIS DRUG IS LIKE SPRYCEL, I DIDN'T HAVE THE HEADACHE THOUGH LIKE I DID WITH SPRYCEL. I HAVE NO SIDE EFFECTS. WELL, MAYBE I DO, BUT AT MY AGE IT'S HARD TO SAY ARE THEY BECAUSE 80 IS AROUND THE CORNER, AND I AM SUPPOSED TO HAVE ACHES AND PAINS, OR IS IT THE DRUG? WHO KNOWS. I HAD A BMA/BMB YESTERDAY, THAT WILL MAKE THE SECOND SO THEY WILL HAVE A COMPARISON. IT WAS A DRY TAP, BUT THEY DID GET A PIECE OF BONE, SO THAT SHOULD HELP. I WILL KNOW THE RESULTS SOON, AND PASS THEM ON. GOOD LUCK, I PRAY THAT THIS DRUG LOVES YOU!!! Guest guest
Jackie, a dry tap in itself does not hurt more, it's just that she tried over and over to draw something, and it just didn't happen. Today is when it hurt, very sore, but not during the procedure. I guess 30 mg would be right, Len started at 8, I am on 15, and Len's next dose I think will be 15. Mine should double, so by then it might be 60? who knows? I hope I have news of the bio on Mon., most likely its too soon. Good luck, so far, I love this drug!!
