Guest guest
If you are fortunate enough to have insurance to pay for Gleevec that is great. I have insurance also, but at one point I did not. If you have low income, no insurance, etc. You can apply to Novartis for free Gleevec. You fill out a form for them to review, and in most cases they will give you Gleevec for approximately 1 year. If your situation does not improve, they do another review. I got mine for 9 months a few years ago at no cost to me. Also, if you were in the clinical trial as I was you can get it for free at anytime if you cannot afford it. Now that was back in 2000, but I was told I would never have a problem getting it when needed.
