Please someone, if you are taking either Darvon or Neurontin, please tell me if

you have side effects or if you find relief from it? I take both at the same

time.

Sometimes the Darvon makes me so loopy, I can't think. I was talking to my son

this morning and every other word I had to stop and ask him for the word I was

trying to say.

Yesterday it hit me about 4 hours after I took it. I was sitting in the waiting

room for Jimmy to get a field vision test, which did not turn out too well, we

will have to wait until next week or so to find out more particularly. I was so

loopy he had to hold me up and drive with dialated eyes. We were out of town,

so we went to get something to eat and I had to hold on to him. When we got

home, I went right to my recliner (electric chair) and went to sleep for several

hours.

Jimmy fed me something (can't remember what) and then I went back to sleep in my

recliner. By the time I got up this morning, the Darvon had worn off and I was

literally screaming with pain and Jimmy had to help me get my clothes on while

sitting in my wheelie walker. They should the scale from 1 to 11 instead of 10.

I sat with my heating pad for a while and I am doing better, but this was a

nightmare and it was real. Jimmy is afraid to leave the house to run errands

until I am up and can manage my pain on my own. I have an appointment to see a

psyiatrist next week, who will evaluate me to see what doctor to see. I want an

xstop inserted and no one knows what it is, so if they don't have basic

knowledge about it, I don't want to be their first. Most doctors don't know

what I am talking about. 's wife had 2 put in and she is doing fine. When

I call a doctor's office, I ask if they are board certified and how many of

these surgeries they do.

If you are listening, , please send me that list from Baton Rouge. I have

been to several web sites and I am sent to some weird sites and after answering

a few questions, get sent back to the same home page.

Hands and hearts,

Lottie
