RE: Dr. Schuster to and Ruth

I just saw Ruth's date that she started with Dr. Schuster in NY.

I wish I had the opportunity to have Dr. Schuster back then. I have no idea how

I ended up with Dr. Silver. He was so old, and I have to say he was

knowledgeable. He just did not make me feel good about anything.

When I was checking on clinical trials back then, which I had to do by myself.

I do not know how it works now, but I did all my own research back in 2000, and

when I found NY Presbyterian Hospital my choice was

Dr. Silver. I had a hard time getting into the program, and not knowing

anything about how to proceed, I just kept calling Dr. Silvers office as that

was the contact I was given.

Finally, the girl said Oh Your That Lady From South Jersey like oh no its you

again. She gave me the appointment for consult, and then it just went from

there once I got my foot in the door.

It just makes me wonder where I would have ended up if I had not pushed the

issue for an appointment.

Good to know Dr. Schuster is still around, he sounds great.
