Guest guest
Hi Lea, I would strongly recommend seeing a rheumatologist. During my path to diagnosis of arthritis, I saw an ER doctor who told me I tested negative for arthritis. He was the 2nd of 14 doctors I saw over 2 months. Being 22 at the time, I didn't realize that testing negative for the Rheumatoid factor didn't rule out arthritis at all. I finally got diagnosed at a teaching hospital, where several doctors of different specialities worked together to diagnose me. Take care, in VA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks to everyone, Yesterday I did see my doctor, but the only thing >she did was putting me on pain killers so, so far I still don't know >if it's rheumatoid arthritis or what I had more support here than at >the doctors office Thank you > Lea >Belgium54@com MSN 8 helps ELIMINATE E-MAIL VIRUSES. Guest guest
Patty, Have you ever had your son tested for silicone? How old is he now? The medical establishment makes me sick to my stomach. Love, Anita Lea Your poor family has suffered so at the hands of the medical establishment! I am so sorry! My son also had the tubes in his ears...at the age of 3 months. I was told later when I stated investigating this whole silicone thing that they were made of silicone and that one of them was removed at a doctor appt at the age of two years, but they couldn't find the other one....the nurse said it either fell out, or "dissolved in his head." That gave me nightmares. He seems okay, although he does suffer from allergies and his eyes get terribly red from strain, and out of all my kids, he is the least intelligent. Make me wonder. I am really sorry your daughter has suffered so. What autoimmune disease does she have? Guest guest
Anita, I've never tested him for silicone, as he was on his own when I found out about the tubes being silicone when he was a baby. He is 24 now, and has been through 4 years in the Army, now going to ITT Tech. He seems to be holding up okay, ( though I sometimes wonder about the future for him!) How is your son doing? Guest guest
Patty, It sounds like your son is doing very well. I guess that's something you just have to keep in the back of your mind if something comes up. My son and I are both battling depression. Every day seems to be a roller coaster. I wish we could go faster with his treatments but the herx is too scary with him. I haven't done a whole lot for myself lately. I just don't have the energy to do for us both. I do try to get that garlic down everyday though. I can really feel the difference with it. Love, Anita Lea Your poor family has suffered so at the hands of the medical establishment! I am so sorry!
