Guest guest
Hi Beth & Bobby, This is awesome news that we are all doing so well. Praying it stays that way. As far as the appetite - Yup, it's good and it seems every day I get weighed I have gained a pound! When we get back to the cooler Iowa weather I will have to start a walking program. God Bless, Jackie S. I'm doing fantastic too! I was super tired last night and slept 10 hours, but think I've been overdoing it because I feel so great. One bit of great news for me--the night soaks, err sweats, have completely stopped! My counts from last week: wbc - 4.9 rbc - 3.81 hgb - 13 plt - 229 neuts - 2.92 I love it so far! Hugs, Beth Re: [ ] Latest update. Hi Jackie, good to hear you have a good qol. Sorry about the rash. It is interesting how one drug will effect one person one way, and someone else be totally different. my labs this week were: wbc - 6.0 hgb - 10.5 plt - 171 neuts - 4.3 I feel great, no side effects at all, have a huge appetite and sleep like a log., I wish everyone could do this well on a drug, no matter which one. But it will be the long term that will decide if it works or not, so far, so good. Good luck to you, love, Bobby On Fri, Jul 3, 2009 at 11:03 AM, jackie schneider < jschneider008 >wrote: > > > Hi to all, > > I had labs done today. Guest guest
Hi Jackie, I've been slacking on e-mails the past couple of days. I was very sleepy over the weekend--went to bed at 4:30pm on Sunday night! I was a little afraid the drug wasn't working anymore, but my counts on Monday were rock solid. I just feel so darned good these days, I think I have to remind myself that my body is still at war... Take care, Beth Re: [ ] Latest update. Hi Jackie, good to hear you have a good qol. Guest guest
Hi Beth, Be sure to get plenty of rest. I too have to remind myself to take it easy. Our bodies have a large fight on their hands. Rest is what it needs to stay strong. My parents like to go, go, go. I have learned to say " no " from time to time and assure them that I am ok and it's ok to leave me behind once in awhile. They mean so well. I thank God daily for what they are giving up for me. Take care, Jackie S. Guest guest
Jackie, I hear ya. But, I find saying no really hard! I so badly want to just be normal again, it is hard to give in. Does that make sense? But, I am learning to listen to my body. Before my diagnosis, I would just push through when I was tired, now I'm learning to slowwww down when I need to.
