Guest guest
Congratulations Sharon on your PCR test. I also got mine back today, and I am PCRU 5 log reduction. Too bad we could not celebrate together. My husband was off from work tonight, but I cooked the dinner. What I have been doing is, everytime I get my PCR test result back, I go buy myself a present to celebrate. My family laughs at me. You were right about feeling bad to announce good news when others are struggling to get there, but I hope it helps those to see that we can all get there. Keep a Positive Attitude. I have been on 400mg. Gleevec since Oct. of 2000. Lots Of Faith Too!!
Guest guest
Hi Sharon: I do suffer with side effects constantly, and I get depressed and everything else that goes with it. Then when I see how far I have gotten since 1998, I know I am so blessed. I will be 62 in November. I still get the fatigue, foot and hand cramps etc. I just saw my Oncologist, and he said a lot of my discomfort is Arthritis. I am also due to have that Parathyroid checked in Sept. How is yours?
