Guest guest
Thanks for asking about me Jackie. I had a good visit at MD . Dr. Cortes asked that I have an echocardiogram to rule out any heart issues that might be causing the fatigue and shortnes of breath. Fortunately, my echo was normal so nothing there. I am continuing with my Sprycel and taking it 50 mg every other day. I had been PCRU here since October '07 but my PCR at MDACC was ..03. At first I was concerned but even Dr. Cortes said the their PCR test is more sensitive there and I think it was done on the marrow and not blood. My PCR done here when I returned was .001 so I'm happy with that. I'm hoping the next PCR will come back once again undetectable. I will continue to take the Sprycel and try to pace myself, get plenty of rest, eat healthier, and try to do some form of exercise and see if that helps with the fatigue. Otherwise I'm doing fine. Good luck going home and keep us posted on your progress. Patti
