help, virus? not sure they are right

Right Darren has been unwell for weeks now. First they said chest infection,

then virus and then shingles (although no rash). This has all come from GP as

his specialist keeps saying the go to GP. This week he has develop a werid numb

thingling feeling in his sides, shortness of breath and headaches. Again GP says

another virus. Last not of bloods taken last week sure low platlets and high

(not too high) levels of bilirubin levels. Im sure its not a virus but think its

all to do with liver and possible stomach issues (he had a lot before dx)

Consultant is on holiday and GPs answer is always virus. Im sick of having to

fight for anyone to help.

Darren also had a huge (pressing on stomach and bowels) spleen when dx, and we

still dont know what damage has been done.

Anyone? could it be side efeects of imatinid?
