Dear Cmler2,

I can't believe hearing that Lottie is back in a hospital! I just spoke with her

last week on the phone before I was going in for vision pain in my left eye, and

at my local hospital with my cml specialist. They told me I had an episode of

subconjuntival hemorrage, that could have been caused by anemia, or high blood

pressure, in which they took the BP 3 times on both arms, and the numbers are

very low. I have had much problems when I was given Zithromax last Oct. 2008,

for a bacterial infection, which shows on my CBC that I have an iron deficiency.

When I have the CBC monthly, the hemocrit ( I think...) indicates I am anemic.

However, when they take the iron test, it comes back with no shortage. Has

anyone had any

bacteria infections and what did your Primary Physician prescribe?

By the way Lottie last name is Duthu should anyone need it to send her a

message.

Lottie sounded very tired, however, in good spirits. We talked on the phone for

over

2 1/2 hours, and she seemed to have the most energy telling me old stories about

her life, and her children and grandchildren life. The only complain she had

with me

was the severe back-aches which she desperately wanted to rid herself with.

If anyone speak with her again while she is in the local hospital tell her I am

lighting

a bright candle at the church that I Minister on Wednesday Masses, and she is in

our group prayers!

I just spoke to Lottie she is in her room and waiting on the results of the

procedure.

Said she had all these cards on her table from all of us when she returned from

the procedure.

She sounded upbeat Just tired of not knowing what is wrong.

She sid to tell everyone thank you for all the well wishes and prayers

I just got off the phone with her. She really appreciates all the cards and

She can't wait to get out of there. They still haven't figured out exactly

what causes her pain. They think it is the meds and have switched to Darvon.
