Guest guest
Dear Tonya, Welcome to the best group around that nobody really wants to be part of. This is a special group of people with CML. What one doesn't know another will have an answer. I was diagnosed in November of 2005. I too was taken to the emergency room thinking it was gall bladder but my platlets came back over 1 million. It was a very scary time because I had never even heard of CML. Once a plan of treatment is decided upon you will feel much better. You will be given alot of information and your head will spin trying to absorb it all. That is normal. We are so lucky to have the type of leukemia where there have been major breakthroughs. There are now target drugs that are miracle workers. It will get better and your husband will start to feel normal soon. He can look forward to a long productive life, he just happens to have CML. When I was first diagnosed it was all I could think about. Now, I go days and days without thinking of it except for the two small pills I have to take daily. My last big test showed that the leukemia cells were undectable. My Onocologist just smiles. I give all the glory and honor to the Lord. He is faithful to daily walk with me in this journey. carolyn_kuptz2000@... dx 11-
