The researchers' model also predicted that 75 percent of deaths from these cancers could be prevented with adequate intake of vitamin D3 and calcium. Guest guest
Hi Lottie, I recently heard Dr. Norton, head of Breast Cancer Services at MSKCC say that women should be taking 2000 units of Vit D3 daily to help prevent breast cancer. Particularly an issue for women in colder climates where the sun is not strong all winter. I had my level tested and I was quite deficient. Stay well, Ellen--- In , " Lottie Duthu " <lotajam@...> wrote: > > http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/08/13/New-Model-for-Caw > Study, researchers used a complex computer prediction model to determine that intake of vitamin D3 and calcium would prevent 58,000 new cases of breast cancer and 49,000 new cases of colorectal cancer annually in the U.S. and Canada.
